The Plymouth Pride Forum aims:
- To improve the lives of LGBT people within Plymouth by voicing their needs and identifying gaps in service provision.
- To promote awareness and understanding of LGBT needs within statutory and voluntary service providers and ensure equality of access to services in the city.
- To work in partnership with agencies, such as Plymouth City Council. Devon & Cornwall Constabulary and Plymouth Health, to reduce fear of crime and increase reporting of homophobic incidents.
- To empower LGBT people to become involved in community life and be consulted about all that affects them.
- To promote understanding and respect for LGBT people and their communities.
