Police Diversity teams

These officers are specially trained and have therefore have higher than average knowledge and awareness about the needs of LGBT people. They are always willing to help in a confidential and understanding way so please feel free to contact them.

The Intercom Trust

Based in Exeter but covering the whole of the South West. Their work includes voluntary community work in areas such as a helpline, advocacy, community building and community safety work. PPF liaises and works closely with Intercom.

OUT Youth Group (Plymouth)

We are a friendly group of LGBTQ young people (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Trans or those questioning their sexual orientation) aged between 13 and 25 in the Plymouth area.

We meet every week between 6.00pm and 8.00pm in the city centre and provide a safe space where young people can meet other LGBTQ young people as well as getting information, advice and guidance.  Oh yes, we have FUN as well !!

Qualified and experienced Youth Workers are always available to support the group, and they can be contacted on 07791 652486 (not 24 hours) if you would like further information.
